Woodward Digital Governors
MicroNet - Custom Programable Governor
The MicroNet Controller is a state-of-the-art, programmable, digital controller. It can be programmed to control any prime mover and its associated processes, as well as system sequencing, high speed system monitoring, and surge control. The MicroNet digital control is available in simplex, dual redundant and triple modular redundant (TMR) configurations.

505 & 505E - Standard Configurable Governor
The 505 & 505E are microprocessor-based controls designed to operate steam turbines of all sizes. The 505 is designed to operate steam turbines using one of two (split-stage) actuators to drive inlet steam valves. The 505E is designed to operate single extraction and/or admission steam turbines. These digital controls are field programmable. They use menu-driven software to instruct site engineers on programming the control to a specific generator or mechanical drive application. The 505 or 505E can be configured to operate as a stand-alone unit or in conjunction with a plant's distributed control system.

Peak150 - Small Turbine Governor
The Peak 150 digital control is designed to control a single-valve stream turbine driving a mechanical load. It provides tight control of speed (NEMA D) and includes an input for a 4-20 mA remote speed control signal, which can be used for a process-generated input to control the speed setting. Other features include dual speed control dynamics and overspeed trip test capabilities

ProTech TPS - Overspeed and Turbine Protection
The ProTech TPS safety system is designed to be applied as a safety system for any size steam, gas, or hydro turbine, or plant process equipment. This safety PLC's fast (10 millisecond) response time, 0.5 to 32 000 rpm speed range, and integrated overspeed and acceleration detection/protection functionality, make it ideal for application on critical high-speed rotating motors, compressor, turbines or engines.
The ProTech 203 Overspeed Protection system monitors three individual magnetic pickups to provide overspeed protection for steam turbines or other prime movers, and can operate above 10,000 rpm, where mechanical overspeed devices may become unreliable.
